The Conference Hotel will be Nairobi Safari Club at Lilian Towers, University Way – Koinange Street Junction, P.O. Box 43564 - 00100 Nairobi, Kenya, in Nairobi's Central Business District. Additional rooms will also be available at the YMCA Central, Along State House Road, Nairobi, Kenya. Both venues are within walking distance of the University of Nairobi. Although Kenya is now a visa free country, prior to travel, most visitors must apply online for an eTA. It requires a valid passport, a passport sized photo and a fee. The processing time is about 3 to 5 days. Please visit https://www.etakenya.go.ke/en for further details.

Please call your cell phone carrier to find out if your plan includes Kenya. If it does, please find out what their coverage rates are and how to set up your phone accordingly. If it does not, consider purchasing, in your home country, a cheap unlocked phone with a SIM slot that is compatible with Kenya, and then purchase a local SIM card on arrival.
